BLOOD TYPE: O OCCUPATION: Student
first impressions —
▶VISUAL: Obviously, the most notable aspect of Peridot is her impressively tiny height. Nothing she could wear and none of her features can distract from the fact that she is well below the height of her fellow students, and the stressed resting look on her face reflects the fact that she is well aware of this unfortunate trait. Aside from this, her complexion is pale and almost sickly, a true testament to her time spent in her room, curtains drawn with no desire for light outside of her computer screen. Her frame doesn't help these unhealthy looking traits, as she is on the scrawnier end of average, not quite to the point of skin and bones, but lacking in muscle tone and fat alike. To make matters worse, her eyes are continually covered with thick, round colorless prescription glasses that take up a good portion of her face. She tries to counter all this with nice, straightened, and clean clothes of the most professional look possible, keeping her student uniform in near-perfect condition. At home, however, she is prone to letting loose and dropping all pretexts of fashion to wear her numerous baggy video game hoodies and loose pants.
AURAL: Peridot is voiced by Shelby Rabara, and so voice is naturally high-pitched, though not to the extent of naturally shrill. Peridot usually has two different tones of voice, that being what she wants people to hear, and what she actually sounds like. The former is a voice suited for the image she tries to make of herself, an even and quiet tone fitting for how often she rapidly spouts out specifications and large, technical jargon. She sounds more appropriate for talking to herself in this tone, an she is quite prone to grumbling and growling to herself. However, even with this projected tone, her voice can be broken by strange noises whenever she is interrupted or flustered. Her other, more natural voice, is much louder and less controlled, hinging on childish. She is known for getting worked up when she no longer is putting up a show, and she is susceptible to bursts of loud yelling and voice wavering, as she is not good at all with hiding her emotions during these points. On the other end of extremes, whenever she is happy, there is likely going to be a bout of villainous maniacal laughter to ring in her victory.
▶ SCENT: Peridot doesn't enjoy smelling far too fragrant, though she doesn't like reeking either. So, she will usually compromise with subtle perfumes which give only a hint of floral scents, and odorless deodorant. This way, she can ensure her scent is about as subtly refreshing as possible. Her breath will likely smell of mint toothpaste and mouthwash, as well.
▶BEHAVIOR: On first glance, Peridot will be the definition of a professional and diligent working nerd. She will often have her face buried in books or her computer, focusing entirely on whatever the issue at hand is. As such, she won't really venture out to make any talk when there's outstanding work to be done. For her, responsibilities and obligations come first. If someone is to talk to the nerd, however, they will find that perhaps she is best left alone. She is notoriously self-centered, to the point of narcissism, and won't hesitate to tell people of their faults or flaws firsthand. She is terrible at holding a conversation without it inevitably steering back towards talking about herself or her opinions. Even worse, half the time she doesn't even mean the hurtful things she might say, as she possesses no savvy in conversations. When annoyed or ner someone she dislikes, she will often resort to loud, childish arguments, not afraid to get into nerd slapfights if it is so demanded. Otherwise, she will be content with imitating people, cracking bad jokes, and cycling through her 5 total insulting names. More often than not, though, if said person presents any real danger, she would much rather run away and make herself scarce.

Elaborations —
▶skin
COMPLEXION
Pale and nearly pasty from all her time indoors, so she doesn't do too well in the light.
DISCOLORATIONS/BIRTHMARKS/FRECKLES
Freckles across her cheeks and nose, and a faint triangular birthmark on her forehead.
SCARS/AMPUTATIONS/PROSTHESIS/SURGERY MARKINGS
None.
TATTOOS/PIERCINGS
She would never even think of it.

▶face and body
FACIAL STRUCTURE
Has a long, narrow face with a pointed, thin chin. Her cheekbones aren't very strong, and her face looks somewhat soft and round despite its narrow shape. Her eyes are quite wide, and brows are normally lowered in frustration and concentration.
TEETH
Clean and full, with notably sharp canines that show subtly whenever she laughs uproariously (which is surprisingly often).
RANGE OF EXPRESSION
Very wide. Although her resting face is of disinterest and borderline disdain, she is quite expressive and cannot hide her feelings well at all. The outrage and inflection in her voice is often reflected with the impressive contorting of her features.
BODY TYPE
Short and scrawny, though not entirely bare-bones. Her chest and shoulders are narrow and weak, though her hips are more clearly defined. She has a slight bit of squish to her stomach thanks to the junk food she eats while sitting down at the computer, though it isn't anything which shows through her loose clothes.
ARM/HAND DETAIL
Her arms are thin and bony, with little strength behind them to haul anything seriously heavy. Her hands are similarly bony, with narrow and long fingers and well-defined knuckles from how often they work on the keyboard.
LEG/FOOT DETAIL
Her legs are a little more full, though definitely not muscular. She can run fairly quickly and has more hope of gripping onto things if she puts her legs into it rather than her pitiful arms.

▶image and style
POSTURE, GESTURES AND MOVEMENT
Peridot stands as stiff as a board while resting, generally straight and shoulders back to match her professional demeanor. However, her posture is nowhere near perfect, and she has almost a perpetual slouch from spending so long hunched over a computer. Her hands don't hand idly at her side ever, and she will often talk with wide, sweeping gestures or fiddle with something whenever she has no other use for them. Her walk is brisk and impatient, and she leans forward further towards the direction she is walking.
TYPICAL FASHION CHOICES
She will usually wear professional clothes, mostly button-up shirts and long skirts, whenever she is in public. Her clothes are generally not colorful, showing plenty of neutral whites and grays paired with the lightest tints of greens and yellows as the extent of her personal flair. At school, her uniform is in perfect condition, often freshly washed and ironed without a button out of place and only strategic, controlled wrinkles. Her hair will also be put up neatly with hairpins to keep a full shape, usually with her bangs slicked back into a slight triangle. At home, however, she is more likely to wear large, baggy clothing. Hoodies are a favorite of hers, usually with video game references plastered across the front, and sweatpants or pajama pants to complete her tired look. Her hair will usually just be put up in a messy ponytail or bun then.
SELF-IMAGE
Peridot tends to think of herself quite highly, and prides herself on looking professional whenever she is out and about. She also won't hesitate to scoff and grumble about anyone else who goes outside in less put-together fashion, either. She also holds great pride in her video game hoodies, as well, wearing them as badges of her involvement in the games and media themselves, and likely to show them off if given the chance.
